Judging the quality of digital printing ink includes the following points:
1. Environmental protection function
Because digital printing products are in contact with the skin, many are also used for export, and have high requirements for environmental protection functions. Therefore, the thermal transfer ink for digital printing must be a water-based ink.
2. Color fastness
Color fastness includes washing fastness, dry rubbing fastness, soaping fastness, etc. Color fastness is also an important criterion for measuring the effect of printing (that is, no color fading). Usually, products printed with excellent printing ink are used. The color fastness is grade 3-4.
3. Fluency
The ink needs to be filtered at the nanometer level. There are few impurities in the ink, and the molecular weight of the ink is small. The corresponding physical and chemical parameters are adjusted according to the printing machine, so as to ensure the continuous printing for a long time. Fluency is the fundamental quality assurance of ink, and poor fluency means that the ink will be broken during the printing process, which will affect the effect of the final product.
4. Color saturation
Whether the color of the generated printed product is bright, and whether it can reach or even surpass the color that can be expressed by traditional printing is also an important criterion for measuring ink.
5. Storage stability
Whether the ink is suitable for long-term storage, and whether chemical or physical reactions will occur during the storage process, resulting in the deterioration of various functions of the ink.
6. Batch differences
Whether the ink supplier can supply long-term, stable and consistent quality ink.
