1. In the use of colors, try to be concise, bright, and colorful as much as possible
If the designed product is overprinted with too many colors, it will result in darker colors. Due to the large expansion of hot stamping dots and the serious loss of small dots, the pattern is overprinted on too many colorful boards in a certain area, and each color board has the problem of dot expansion or loss. There will be multiple instances of dot enlargement or disconnection, resulting in a dull image, lack of highlights and center adjustment, and uneven dot transition. Therefore, while the design draft can also fully express itself, it is necessary to minimize the number of printed colors as much as possible, which is very beneficial for printing manipulation, quality control, and cost control in batch production.
2. Make full use of spot colors to make up for the shortcomings of four-color printing
Many customers of packaging products always require designers to make their products into manuscripts that can be printed in more than ten colors, including yellow, magenta, cyan, and black. However, sometimes the entire color world cannot be simply represented by just three primary colors or four conventional colors, and adding a spot color is often necessary and effective.
